Lily and I went to the tomato tasting at the Casey Farm farmers market in Saunderstown RI. All the perfectly ripe tomatoes, their glorious colors, were irresistible.


The blue boxes they came in made the tomato colors even better.


And then I met an alpaca. Lily said I had to make friends with it so she could take a picture of us together. I wasn't so sure.

But it was so soft and cute I couldn't resist it either. Doesn't the alpaca look like it's smiling for the photo?
