It makes my day when there's a Maira Kalman op-ed. This one makes me feel like I'm going to get a lot accomplished today. Just look at everything Thomas Jefferson got accomplished.

I love it too, but this one makes me feel how LITTLE I am getting accomplished! Jefferson was a mad overachiever!
This morning right after I read it, I thought I would move mountains today. Now, at 7pm, it makes me realize how little I've done.
I would note, however,there is no mention of TJ ever having thrown a bacon party. So put that in your hamhock and smoke it. Oh, yeah, he grew cannabis too. But likely for the slaves.
